The strike is over

Finally the lectures have decided to cut off the strike on Monday and we are now continuing with our normal lectures. This is because the government have promised to pay their bonuses by the end of this week and we all hope they will do so. The question  here  now is that if the government fail to do as per promise what is going to happen? strike again or something different. we are really waiting for the week to end.

Residents of Harare  got pissed of by the city council banning of chicken rearing of which most of them are the ones who are not employed and its their only source of income.

According to the article in the NewsDay of today Council health director Prosper Chonzi said:
“No poultry house shall be placed nearer than three metres from any boundary or nearer than six metres from premises used for human habitation,”
“No person shall keep any poultry by reasons of continued crowing, quacking clucking, gobbling or like noise tends to destroy the comfort of neighborhood.”
He said those found on the wrong side of the law would be prosecuted.

To me this shows how the City Council is inconsiderate. If these live projects are banned then how are they suppose to curb the economic challenges?

lecturers strike

Totally the economy of Zimbabwe is no longer controllable at all. here we go again We NUST STUDENTS we no longer having our normal lectures especially conventional classes all because lectures are not paid. what should we do? We are all suffering because of this unstable economy yet most of us we have paid our fees in full which our parents struggled to get all because of the economy too. This is not fail at all! Where are we students lets fight for our higher and tertiary education act.
